Russia’s defence minister, Common Sergei Shoigu, has been urged to kill himself over defeats on the battlefield in a stunning broadside by one of many Kremlin’s personal officers.

Kirill Stremousov, appointed head of Kherson area final week, spoke as Ukraine’s military introduced that its counter-offensive had seized again nearly 3000km2 of land from Russia.

Within the southern prong of the assault in Kherson area, Kyiv’s forces have retaken 400 km2 and liberated practically 30 cities and villages, in line with a army spokeswoman. Moscow’s military has additionally been evicted from 2,400km2 within the Kharkiv offensive within the north-east.
