TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The Troy Police Department announced on Friday that one of their police dogs has retired. K9 “Brass” will be trotting into his retirement after loyally serving the department and the city for several years.


The department admired Brass for his diligence and dedication. Working alongside his handler Officer Jones, the K9’s extraordinary tracking, perception and apprehension skills made him integral to numerous successful operations that helped to keep the community safe.
Troy Police thanked Brass for his exceptional service and wished him a happy and peaceful retirement.
