AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Travis County Sheriff’s Office launched particulars on its largest meth seizure in over 20 years, following the indictment of the one that was chargeable for it, based on a launch from TCSO.
In August, the TCSO Vice Unit recieved details about alleged large-scale drug trafficking actions by Juan Jose Cardenas-Flores and commenced investigating, based on the discharge.
During the investigation, Cardenas-Flores was linked to a theft that was being investigated by the Austin Police Department. TCSO Vice investigators and APD theft detectives, together with the Drug Enforcement Administration Task Force, developed sufficient data to difficulty a theft arrest warrant and search warrant, which have been executed on Oct. 5.

Authorities seized roughly 15.5 kilograms of methamphetamine and numerous firearms in the course of the arrest, the discharge mentioned.
Cardenas-Flores was indicted on Dec. 19 by a federal grand jury for possession with the intent to fabricate, distribute or dispense a managed substance.
