BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – The Binghamton Rumble Ponies are ensuring local school aged children in need are equipped and prepared to go back to school this fall.
The Rumble Ponies have teamed up with several local businesses for the 2024 Back to School Supplies Drive. From August 12 to August 24, community members can donate new and unused school supplies at Mirabito Stadium.
Supplies being collected include backpacks, pens, pencils, erasers, boxes of crayons, boxes of markers, colored pencils, scissors, notebooks, folders, glue bottles or sticks, pencil pouches, and any other supplies fit for the upcoming school year.Â
Individuals who donate will receive a voucher good for a buy one, get one ticket offer to the Rumble Ponies upcoming game against the Reading Fightin Phils on August 24 at 6:07 p.m.
Vouchers will be distributed at the time of donation. They must be turned into the Visions Federal Credit Union Starting Gate Box Office for physical tickets to the game. There is a strict two voucher limit person.
