BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 29. Birlik Deri LLC,
backed by Turkish capital, has hit the ground running by securing
its status as a resident of Aghdam Industrial Park, which falls
under the watchful eye of the Agency for Development of Economic
Zones, and this brings the total number of residents to a neat 28,
adding another feather to the cap of the park, Trend reports via the
Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan.
According to the information, the company is set to roll up its
sleeves and kick off a project focused on the production of leather
goods in the industrial park. Over 250 fresh job opportunities will
spring up from this project, with an investment price tag of 20.8
million manat ($12.2 million).
Furthermore, it was observed that the products, crafted at the
enterprise using cutting-edge technologies from countries like
Italy, Türkiye, and South Korea, will be hitting the domestic
market and making waves overseas as well.
To note, a total of 28 business entities, with an investment
volume of 260 million manat ($152.9 million), have received
resident status in Aghdam Industrial Park, while four have obtained
non-resident status. These 32 business entities expect to establish
approximately 2,300 jobs in the industrial park.
Residents have thus far invested about 92 million manat ($54.1
million) in the industrial park, resulting in the creation of more
than 370 jobs.
