AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Austin Resource Recovery interim director has earned the full-time function, in line with a metropolis launch.
Richard McHale was appointed to the lead ARR place in early September, taking on the function from former ARR Director Ken Snipes who was reassigned to the City’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (HSEM) in March. Snipes is now the HSEM director, the discharge states.

The ARR director is accountable for planning and coordination for the City’s useful resource restoration, recycling and reuse providers. The ARR director additionally works carefully with the Zero Waste Advisory Commission which helps Austin’s sustainability efforts.
McHale is a Texas State University graduate, incomes each a bachelor’s diploma in geography and planning and a grasp’s diploma in useful resource and environmental research, the discharge states.
