The United States Secret Service claimed Monday that a representative — apparently designated to President Joe Biden’s granddaughter — opened up fire during a tried break-in of among its unmarked lorries on a Washington road.
It was not right away clear whether Naomi Biden, 29, remained in the area during the occurrence in the affluent Georgetown location.
“On Nov. 12 around 11:58 pm…, Secret Service agents encountered possibly three individuals breaking a window on a parked and unoccupied government vehicle,” the governmental defense solution firm’s representative Anthony Guglielmi claimed in a declaration uploaded to X, previously Twitter.
“During this encounter, a federal agent discharged a service weapon and it is believed no one was struck,” he claimed, including that the suspects got away the scene which “there was no threat to any protectees.”
The car became part of the safety and security information for Naomi Biden, United States media reported.
