FRESNO, Calif. (AP) — A helicopter spun uncontrolled and crashed within the entrance yard of a house in central California, hurting a pilot and passenger, authorities stated.
The helicopter clipped the sting of the home and sheared off the highest of a palm tree earlier than crashing and coming to relaxation on its facet in southeast Fresno round 10 a.m. Saturday, stated police Lt. Charlie Chamalbide.
Two males aboard, the 47-year-old pilot and a 33-year-old passenger, had been hospitalized with minor accidents, Chamalbide stated. No one on the bottom was damage.
The plane was a surveying helicopter on a take a look at run, the lieutenant stated. He didn’t have details about who owned it or who the occupants had been working for.

The Nationwide Transportation Security Board was investigating.
