BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – The Broome County Festival of Lights has already began spreading vacation cheer this season.
The drive by means of gentle show opened to the general public on Sunday at Otsiningo Park.
Volunteer Coordinator Robin Alpaugh says they’ve made some enhancements to the present.
With 2.5 million lights and new shows, he says they’re having enjoyable lighting issues up. The pageant has even included extra of the neighborhood’s favourite components from earlier years.
There shall be two fireworks nights, together with this Friday, 17 scheduled visits from Santa with the primary this Saturday, and performances from native teams.
Alpaugh says everybody will benefit from the occasion.
“It’s really all about the families in our community. It’s something fun to do, something for all ages. We’ve got great music and our own radio station here in the park. Pinkies BBQ is doing a great job with the food, and you can stop there and get out and takes pictures with the big 2023. There’s literally something for everyone to see here,” mentioned Alpaugh.
The Festival of Lights is open 7 days every week.
It’s open 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday by means of Thursday and 5 to 10 Friday and Saturday.
Tickets are $25 per automobile normal admission or $60 for a season move and could be bought on the entrance, on the occasion’s web site or by means of a range of native nonprofit organizations.
