BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 6. The meeting of
Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission (CEC) has registered 77
plenipotentiary representatives and one representative on financial
issues of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP), Trend reports.
The appeals of the party for registration were considered at the
meeting.
The issue was put up for voting and adopted.
On June 28, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev
signed a decree on the dissolution of the Azerbaijani Parliament of
the sixth convocation and the appointment of an extraordinary
election to the Azerbaijani Parliament.
The extraordinary election is scheduled for September 1,
2024.
