BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 25. Azerbaijan’s tax
authorities recorded a total of 330,460 inquiries from January
through September 2024.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Tax Service of Azerbaijan shows
that out of the bunch, a whopping 96 percent were applications,
while a mere 3.9 percent were complaints, and just a tiny 0.1
percent were suggestions.
The report showed that during the reporting period, the review
process for a staggering 97 percent of received appeals was wrapped
up, while a mere 3 percent are still in the pipeline. Issues raised
in 95 percent of the addressed appeals were either resolved or
accompanied by appropriate explanations by the authorities. For the
remaining cases, necessary actions were taken under existing
legislation.
Additionally, in the first 9 months of this year, officials from
the State Tax Service facilitated 510 citizen reception
sessions.
