AUSTIN (KXAN) — One Austin police officer was killed and one other officer was injured in south Austin Saturday morning, in line with Austin officers.
The Austin Police Department mentioned it responded to a name in the 9300 block of Bernoulli Drive at 2:49 a.m. According to a metropolis council message board, the officer-involved taking pictures occurred at about 4:10 a.m.
Mayor Kirk Watson mentioned the injured officer was in surgical procedure as of round 8:30 a.m.
According to a message despatched to councilmembers, Watson mentioned there have been two lifeless discovered in the home the place the incident occurred.
